Prague is a fairy-tale city with kids because it actually looks like the picture books. Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, the Charles Bridge, and the Castle are all stroller-walkable in a single day, though the cobblestones are murder on small wheels. SLUSNY yoyoshop and Skibi Kids Karlovo náměstí are the two boutique toy and play stops that local parents bookmark. MindMaze is the immersive room experience for kids 9 and up. Prague Cycle Boat is the river-tour option that doubles as a moving lunch break. The Petřín Hill funicular is the underrated tourist move; the mini Eiffel Tower at the top and the mirror maze fill an afternoon and the funicular is included in the public transit ticket. Letná Park and Stromovka are the two big green spaces locals use for weekend playground time. Pro tip every Prague parent learns: cash and contactless both work in restaurants, but kid-friendly menus are not standard. Pierogi, soup, and grilled chicken with potatoes are the reliable kid orders almost anywhere. The Prague Zoo is in the top 10 in the world by most parent rankings; budget a full day. The bus 112 from Holešovice metro is the easy access; the city center to zoo with kids by tram is harder than it looks on the map.
