Photo quality

Photo Policy

Photos carry planning weight. If a parent is choosing a place from a photo, that photo has to show the real kind of experience they are likely to get.

Listing photos

Listing detail pages and listing cards use real venue photos. We do not use synthetic images, logos, empty marketing graphics, watermarked stock images, or photos from a different same-name location to represent a real venue.

A listing photo should show the actual place, be sharp enough for web use, and be framed so the subject is not awkwardly cropped. For kid activity venues, children or family context are preferred when the image rights and venue fit are acceptable.

Editorial images

Blog and newsletter hero images can use curated editorial imagery when the image is used as a broad concept, such as rainy-day backup plans or free indoor ideas. These images should feel polished, bright, family-relevant, and properly framed.

Editorial images should not pretend to be a photo of a specific venue. When a post features a real place, the listing or venue image still needs the stricter venue-photo standard.

Corrections

If a photo is wrong, poorly framed, duplicated, or no longer reflects the venue, email hello@kidpaths.com with the page URL and the issue. We prioritize photo fixes because parents rely on images to judge whether a stop is worth the trip.
