KidPaths ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website kidpaths.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our site.
Information We Collect
Analytics data: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use KidPaths. This collects anonymized data such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, and general location (city/country level). We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.
Email address: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this solely to send you family travel guides and activity recommendations. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How We Use Your Information

- To send newsletter emails you opted into
- To understand which cities and activities are most popular
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
KidPaths and our third-party partners use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the site, measure performance, and (where applicable) serve advertising. Categories of cookies in use:
- Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the site to function (page navigation, secure forms). These cannot be disabled and do not store personal information.
- Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics to count visits and measure traffic patterns. Aggregated and anonymized.
- Advertising cookies. Set by our advertising partners (see Advertising section below) to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance. These are only set when ads are being served on the site.

KidPaths displays advertising through ad networks that include Mediavine and, where applicable, Google AdSense. These advertising partners use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to:
- Show ads that are relevant to your interests based on browsing patterns
- Limit how many times you see a particular ad
- Measure how effective ad campaigns are
- Detect and prevent fraudulent activity and abuse
Our advertising partners may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit on KidPaths, device identifiers, and general location (country and city level). They do not have access to personally identifiable information from KidPaths and do not associate ad data with names or email addresses.

For California residents under the CCPA: KidPaths does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. The CCPA defines "sale" broadly to include some interest-based advertising activities. For European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Swiss residents: where ads are served under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), you will see a consent prompt before personalized ads are loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time from the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer.

- Vercel. Website hosting.
- Supabase. Database and backend services.
- Beehiiv. Newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe). See Beehiiv's privacy policy.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Your Rights
You have the right to:

- Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt out of our newsletter at any time
- Opt out of analytics tracking via your browser settings
- Opt out of personalized advertising via the industry opt-out links listed in the Advertising section above
- Withdraw consent for ad cookies at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer (where applicable)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information have been collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland have rights under the GDPR including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent. Children's Privacy
KidPaths is a resource for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
