Swimming Club RAFTIK - swimming babies and children

Swimming Club RAFTIK is one of Prague's best-loved destinations for baby and children's swimming, offering classes for little ones from as young as 3 months old through primary school age. The club specializes in water confidence and early swim development in a warm, purpose-built pool environment designed specifically for infants and young children.

Baby classes, usually from 3 months to around 3 years, focus on gentle water acclimatization, breath control, and the kind of splashing, floating, and kicking that builds lifelong comfort with water. Parents are in the pool with their babies throughout, making it as much a bonding experience as a swim lesson. Instructors are warm, patient, and experienced with even hesitant little swimmers.

Older toddlers and young children move into more structured lessons that introduce proper stroke technique, submersion, and independent swimming. The progression is gradual and child-paced, which keeps anxiety low and confidence high.

Facilities are well-maintained and family-friendly. Changing rooms accommodate parents and young children, and the pool area is kept at a comfortable temperature for small bodies. Swim diapers are required for infants and toddlers who are not potty-trained.
