Slick City Action Park

Slick City in Maple Grove is something different from the typical trampoline park. Instead of trampolines, it's all about slides — indoor, friction-free slides and lanes that let you race, spin, and launch into foam pits. Think of it as a water park without the water.

The concept clicks immediately with kids. Multi-lane racing slides let siblings compete head-to-head. Corkscrew slides, speed slides, and gentler options for kids still building courage. Foam pit landings make everything feel safe, which is great for kids who'd normally be cautious about height or speed.

For younger kids (ages 2-5), there's a designated toddler zone with shorter, gentler slides. It's separated from the big kid areas so your toddler can slide at their own pace without dodging flying 8-year-olds.

Athletic clothing required — no jeans, metal buckles, or zippers. The slides are designed for smooth fabrics. Long sleeves are fine and can actually help with speed on some slides.

The facility is in the Fountains at Arbor Lakes development in Maple Grove, which is great for food after. Red Robin, Noodles & Company, Chick-fil-A, and others are right in the same shopping area.

90 minutes is the sweet spot. Kids go hard on slides and tire out from climbing the stairs to the top. The park has concessions for water and snacks between runs.

Slick City is a refreshing alternative to the dozen trampoline parks in the Minneapolis area. If your kids are bored of bouncing, the slides are a genuinely different experience that gets them equally excited.
