The Airosphere, Inflatable Park & Arcades

The Airosphere on Ware Boulevard in east Tampa is a double-threat family entertainment venue — a large inflatable park combined with a full arcade game floor, giving families two distinct activity layers in one air-conditioned building.

The inflatable section is the headliner. Giant inflatable obstacle courses with multi-lane racing layouts, climbing walls with slides, and bounce areas fill a large floor space. The multi-lane format is the key feature — it lets kids race simultaneously side by side through the same obstacle course, which generates the competitive energy and laughter that single-lane setups can't replicate.

The structures are sized to work for ages 3-14, with the youngest kids sticking to smaller elements and older kids taking on the more challenging obstacles.

The arcade floor adds a separate dimension. After 45-60 minutes of inflatable exertion, kids often want to wind down with sit-down games — and the redemption arcade format gives them a goal (tickets) to work toward. The prize counter motivates strategic play.

Timing matters here. Saturday afternoons bring the largest crowds; Saturday morning (10am opening) or Tuesday/Wednesday early afternoons are the best times for an uncrowded experience. Closed Monday — confirm current hours before visiting as they've adjusted schedules in the past.

The east Tampa location on Ware Blvd may be less convenient for families in west Tampa, Westchase, or Citrus Park, but the size and variety of the facility make the drive worthwhile. Socks required for the inflatables; bring your own to skip the purchase.
