Seattle Pinball Museum

Seattle Pinball Museum is a play-first museum where the exhibits are working games. After paying admission, families can use more than 50 machines on free play without feeding quarters into each cabinet. The official game list stretches from 1960s pinball through current releases, with familiar themes such as Sonic, Pokemon, Harry Potter, Godzilla and Toy Story 4.

Older arcade games also appear in the lineup. Children can practice timing, compare scoring systems and move between machines whenever a game feels too difficult.

The age rule matters. Children under 7 are not permitted, including infants, and visitors ages 7 to 14 must come with an adult. Current admission is $25 for ages 15 and older and $23 for children ages 7 to 14.

That makes admission $96 for two adults and two children in the child-price range. All games are included once inside. The museum does not publish an average visit length, but families should plan about 1.5-3 hours depending on how long everyone wants to play.

This is an indoor activity that works well during Seattle rain. On busy days, staff may start a wait list at the door. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, so eat before arriving or plan a meal afterward at one of the neighborhood businesses named on the museum's site.
