Pack your own umbrella and chairs. Rental equipment runs $30–$50 per day, which adds up significantly over a week-long vacation. Sunscreen is non-negotiable — the Gulf Coast sun combined with water reflection is intense. Reef-safe options are preferred given the coastal ecosystem.
