Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf – Bar Harbor

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf in Bar Harbor is a seasonal outdoor mini-golf stop on Route 3, halfway between the Trenton Bridge and downtown Bar Harbor. The setting adds a full pirate story to the game. Families putt through mountain caves, over footbridges, beneath waterfalls, and around a full-scale pirate ship.

The course design gives children something new to notice at nearly every hole while adults and older siblings can still enjoy the scorekeeping challenge.

The location has two 18-hole choices, Blackbeard's Course and the Original Course. Each costs $11. 50 for an adult and $9.

That makes one course $42 for two adults and two children, or both courses $63. The official page does not publish a price for children younger than 5, so call rather than assuming they are free.

Families choosing all 36 holes should allow roughly twice that amount plus any wait between courses. No tee-time reservation is required. The Bar Harbor course operates from mid-April through October and lists daily hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. All hours are weather permitting. This is not a rainy-day activity, and operations can change even within the normal season. Check the official location page or call on wet, windy, or uncertain days.

The company describes its courses as suitable for all ages, but ages 5 to 14 are the easiest fit for active play. Stroller access, baby-changing facilities, and Bar Harbor-specific food service are not published. The general FAQ says only some holes at some locations are wheelchair accessible, so families with mobility needs should call this location before visiting.
