Activate Games is an active, tech-powered attraction where players physically move through a series of game rooms, each with a distinct challenge that uses motion sensors, lit walls, and real-time scoring. Think of it as a video game you actually live inside — you're not holding a controller, you're using your body to solve the challenge.

A typical session moves you through 6–8 rooms, each with 2–3 minutes of gameplay. Rooms might have you dodging lasers, hitting lit targets in sequence, stomping on floor pads in a pattern, or navigating timed obstacle courses. The variety keeps energy up because just as one type of challenge gets familiar, you move to something completely different.

The experience is designed for groups of 2–6 people, making it well-suited for family visits, birthday parties, or friend groups. Some rooms have a cooperative element, others are competitive within the group — both formats work well for families where kids and parents want to play together.

This is not the right choice for young kids. The reaction-speed challenges, abstract rules, and physical demands work best for ages 8 and up. Tweens and teens consistently rate it among their favorite activities, and it's one of the more age-appropriate options in St. Louis for the 10–16 crowd who find traditional play spaces too juvenile.
