TRex Playland

Trex Playland is a locally owned indoor play center at 801 North Military Highway in Norfolk. The official venue page lists a multi-level jungle gym, five inflatables, a toddler-only play zone, more than 75 arcade games, private party rooms, and a concession stand. That combination makes the venue an Entertainment listing rather than a public playground.

Families can choose physical play, arcade time, or both, but the admission structure separates those options.

The main play admission is for children ages three to 12 who are at least 36 inches tall and no taller than five feet three inches. The current official FAQ lists that admission at $22 before tax and says it covers the multi-level playground and large inflatables. The toddler admission is $13.20 before tax for children ages one to three who are under 36 inches tall, covering the toddler area and toddler inflatable.

Babies in arms who are not crawling or walking are free, and adults enter free. Check the official page before visiting because prices and special-event rules can change.

Trex Playland grippy socks are required and currently listed at $3 per pair before tax. The arcade is a separate cost, so do not assume an admission wristband includes game play. The website describes more than 75 arcade games but does not promise a particular game or prize inventory.

Decide the arcade amount before arrival if the family needs a firm budget, then add concession purchases separately. Outside food and drinks are not permitted under the current venue rule.

The play areas have different age and size boundaries. The official FAQ assigns the toddler area to ages one to three, the jungle gym and inflatables to ages three to 12, and the arcade to all ages. Those bands are more useful than the old generalized two-to-12 recommendation.

Measure a child near the 36-inch or five-foot-three-inch cutoff before leaving home, and contact the venue if the correct wristband is unclear.

Current posted hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. The venue warns that holiday and special-event hours may differ. A weekday visit can reduce party traffic, but availability is not guaranteed, so confirm the live hours and special-events page before driving.
