Spadina Museum

Spadina Museum combines a guided historic-house visit with gardens and grounds overlooking Toronto. The restored mansion focuses on the years from 1900 through the 1930s. Its rooms tell the story of the wealthy Austin family as well as the people who worked in service in their home.

Weather affects the experience. The house provides a rainy-day option, but it has no air conditioning and can become very warm. During extreme heat, tours may be shortened. The garden and grounds are open daily and include formal beds, an orchard, a grape arbour, and a kitchen garden.

There is no on-site public parking. Paid parking is available in the shared Casa Loma lot, while the official transit route starts at Dupont Station and continues north toward the Baldwin Steps. The city describes the museum as only partially accessible and asks visitors to contact staff for details.
