Uptown Jungle Fun Park

Uptown Jungle Fun Park in Sandy is one of the bigger indoor activity centers in the Salt Lake City area. It's in a large space off 1300 E and combines trampolines, ninja warrior courses, climbing walls, foam pits, and a toddler area.

The ninja warrior obstacles are the star for the 7-12 age group. Different difficulty levels mean even younger kids can try the easier course. Climbing walls range from beginner to advanced, giving kids a sense of progression and accomplishment. The trampolines and foam pits are solid — not as extensive as a dedicated trampoline park, but the variety makes up for it.

The toddler section is enclosed and separate from the main floor. Smaller structures, soft features, calmer vibe. Works well if you've got a 2-year-old and a 9-year-old because you can split duties between the two areas without losing sight of either kid.

The facility gets busiest Saturday afternoons when birthday parties are in full swing. Weekday mornings are the calmest — mostly the preschool crowd with some homeschool families. After school hours pick up around 3:30 PM.

Small snack bar inside. For a real meal, Sandy has great options nearby including In-N-Out and Chick-fil-A along 1300 E. The Sandy area also has some solid local restaurants if you want to avoid chains.
