Denver to Yellowstone Road Trip With Kids

Yellowstone’s West Entrance at West Yellowstone and most park roads close to regular cars on November 1, 2026, and stay closed for the winter. Until they reopen, the only road open to cars runs from the North Entrance at Gardiner, Montana, to the Northeast Entrance, weather permitting.
