Denver to Keystone Drive With Kids
Leave room for traffic on I-70, and save the snow fort or skating for after check-in, once everyone is out of the car.
The drive

- Typical drive time
- About 90 minutes from Denver
Measured from downtown Denver, as stated by the official source listed at the bottom of this page. Traffic, weather and stops with kids add time, so plan for a longer day than the map shows.

Three things to plan before you leave
- Colorado's Traction Law applies on I-70 from Morrison to Dotsero every year from September 1 through May 31, and any time conditions require, so check your tires before you leave.
- Keep snacks, water and a warm layer in the car, not in the roof box.
- Fuel up on the Denver side so a slow I-70 day is not also a low-tank day.
Checked against: Keystone Resort: getting here, Keystone Resort: family ski vacation, CDOT: Traction Law (checked )
