Fitzpatrick Playground

Fitzpatrick Playground is a neighborhood recreation facility on Ditman Street in the Wissinoming section of Northeast Philadelphia. Managed by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, it offers playground equipment and open green space for families in the surrounding residential community.

Like many of Philadelphia's neighborhood parks, Fitzpatrick serves as a free, accessible outdoor option for local families, the kind of playground where neighborhood kids meet after school and families gather on weekend afternoons. The equipment is suited for children ages 2 to 12, with structures appropriate for both younger and older children.

Northeast Philadelphia has a variety of outdoor options in close proximity, Pennypack Park, one of the largest parks in the Philadelphia park system, is about 10 minutes away and offers trails, creek access, and a nature center for a longer outdoor excursion if families want to extend their outing.
