About

FUNBOX Arcadia is a big indoor entertainment center in the LA area that combines bounce houses, slides, climbing walls, and arcade games under one roof. It's on Baldwin Ave in Arcadia, easy to get to from most parts of the San Gabriel Valley.

The layout works well for mixed-age families. There's a dedicated toddler area with soft play structures that's separate from the bigger attractions — so your 2-year-old isn't getting trampled by hyped-up 8-year-olds. The bigger bounce houses and slides are genuinely fun for kids up through about 12 or 13. There's also an arcade section with ticket-earning games that keep tweens occupied.

Grip socks are required. Bring your own or pay $3-$5 per pair at the door. For a family of 4, that's an annoying extra $12-$20 on top of admission.

Pricing depends on the package and day of week. Weekdays are cheaper. For a family of 4, budget $80-$120 including admission and some arcade credits. The arcade games cost extra beyond base admission, and they add up. Set a limit before you walk in.

The space gets loud and crowded on weekend afternoons, especially between noon and 4 PM. Weekday mornings or early afternoons are much calmer.

There's a small food counter inside with pizza, chicken tenders, and snacks. Standard fare. The surrounding Arcadia neighborhood has much better food — Din Tai Fung is nearby, and there are plenty of other restaurants along Baldwin Ave and Huntington Drive.

For parents, there's seating around the play areas so you can watch your kids. It's not luxurious — plastic chairs and high noise levels — but you can see the play areas from the benches.

FUNBOX works best as a 2-3 hour outing. Kids burn a ton of energy bouncing and climbing. It's a solid rainy day option or a go-to when you need to tire kids out indoors.

Why Kids Love It

It's a giant indoor playground meets arcade on steroids. Bounce houses, slides, climbing walls, arcade games, and party rooms all under one roof. Toddlers love the dedicated soft play area, while older kids gravitate to the bigger slides and arcade section. Pure sensory overload in the best way.
