Spring Valley Beach

Spring Valley Beach is a family-owned outdoor water park in Blountsville, roughly between Birmingham and Huntsville. The operator describes a 25-acre property with a two-acre pool, 11 water slides, a large children's water playground, and more than 20 pavilion areas. The park is built for a full summer day rather than a quick swim.

Families can alternate between the main pool, slides, the younger-child play area, picnic breaks, and shaded pavilion time without leaving the grounds.

The two-acre pool is the center of the park. The official site says families may float, relax poolside, grill, or use the slides around the pool area. The children's section sits along one side of that pool and is presented as a large water playground for kids and families.

Older or taller riders can consider the larger slides, but restrictions matter. The 360 Rush and Double Tornado Wave each require riders to be at least four feet tall, and the operator also publishes weight limits for those attractions. Review the current rules with children before arrival so a height restriction does not become a surprise.

This is a seasonal operation. The current 2026 page lists Saturday and Sunday hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Labor Day, with Labor Day also listed as open. Schedules, capacity, and special dates can change, so confirm the page on the morning of a long drive.

The operator warns that even season passes do not guarantee entry when the park reaches capacity. Arriving near opening gives the family more usable time and a better chance of securing the setup you want.

Spring Valley Beach has unusually flexible picnic rules for a water park. Guests may bring food and drinks and may use grills, but alcohol, deep fryers, radios, speakers, confetti items, generators, and several party decorations are prohibited. Pets are not allowed.

The park asks guests to follow its charcoal-disposal process rather than putting charcoal on the ground or in ordinary trash. Pavilion rentals are available separately for families who want a reserved base.

Admission applies to everyone over age two, including guests who do not swim. The official 2026 page uses height and date to set prices and lists both free and paid parking options. Build the budget from the current rate table, the children's heights, the visit date, and any pavilion or inside-parking choice.

Bring family-appropriate swimwear, sun protection, water, and whatever picnic supplies fit the posted rules.
