In winter, Ruby Hill transforms into one of the city's most accessible and beloved sledding destinations. The gentle but reliable slopes draw families from across the south Denver metro when snow falls, and the location is close enough to most neighborhoods to make a spontaneous sledding trip practical.

Year-round, the park also features a Pump Track — a paved circuit designed for bikes, skateboards, and scooters that attracts older kids and teens looking for a physical challenge. The track is free and open continuously.
