The 135-acre site wraps around a natural lake with wetland habitat, hiking trails, and a nature center with educational exhibits. The main attraction for families is the kayak and canoe rental service: paddling on the lake, spotting herons wading in the shallows, turtles sunning on logs, and occasionally getting closer to wildlife than any land-based trail allows.
