Tiger World in Rockwell is a licensed big cat rescue sanctuary located about 40 minutes northeast of Charlotte that offers guided tours where you walk through the facility and get remarkable close-up views of tigers, lions, ligers, and other large felines — a genuinely different experience from a traditional zoo.
