About

Aquaboulevard in the 15th arrondissement is the real deal — a 4,500 square meter indoor tropical water park that's been a Paris family staple since 1989. It has everything you'd expect from a proper water park: large waterslides (including some serious ones for older kids and teens), a wave pool, a lazy river, an outdoor sun deck and a kids-only splash area for the younger set.

The indoor tropical environment means it works year-round regardless of weather, which is particularly useful in Paris where summer is beautiful but rainy days happen. The temperature inside stays warm and tropical even in February.

For families with a range of ages, Aquaboulevard has a good spread of options. There's a dedicated children's area for under-5s with smaller slides and shallow water. The big slides and wave pool serve older kids and teens. Adults can relax in the outdoor deck area while kids burn energy — or join in.

Note the unusual hours: closed Monday through Thursday, open Friday through Sunday (plus school holidays and public holidays). This is the biggest thing to plan around. Saturday is the busiest day. Changing rooms, lockers, a restaurant and food kiosks are all on site. Booking online saves time at the door.

The 3.7 Google rating reflects the experience being solid but not without quirks — occasional maintenance issues and the limited opening days are the main complaints.

Why Kids Love It

Aquaboulevard is Paris's biggest indoor water park and one of the few places in the city where kids get massive waterslides, wave pools, a lazy river and actual tropical-style surroundings — all under one roof. It's genuinely exciting and a lot more fun than a typical pool. The outdoor sunbathing decks add a summer resort vibe even in the middle of Paris.
