About
Ventura Park is Cancún's answer to the classic amusement-and-water-park combo, located right in the Hotel Zone at Km 25. It's divided into six themed worlds, each offering a different type of entertainment, making it one of the most versatile family attractions in Cancún.
Wet'n Wild is the water park section and the main draw for most families. It features water slides of varying intensity — from the gentle lazy river and wave pool to the heart-stopping Kamikaze (a near-vertical drop slide) and the Double Space Bowl (a funnel slide that spins you before dropping you into a pool). The Kids Park has miniature slides, splash pads, and shallow pools designed specifically for children under 6.
Aaah!-Ventura offers zip lines and a bungee swing over the park. Fun World has carnival rides including a small roller coaster and spinning rides. Grand Prix features a go-kart track where older kids can race. Underworld has an underground experience with laser tag-style games. And there's even a section with bumper boats.
The Platinum all-inclusive package is the way to go for families. It covers unlimited access to all six worlds, plus a buffet lunch, domestic open bar for adults, unlimited ice cream, and go-kart rides. Without it, you're paying per ride, which adds up fast.
Ventura Park is smaller and less polished than the Xcaret Group parks, but its Hotel Zone location is a major advantage — no 90-minute drives required. It's perfect for a half-day when your family wants classic amusement park fun without the commitment of a full-day jungle excursion. Kids ages 3-12 tend to have the best time here, though teenagers enjoy the extreme slides and go-karts.

Why Kids Love It
Ventura Park is six theme parks rolled into one, and kids get to bounce between water slides, go-karts, zip lines, a rollercoaster, laser tag, and bumper boats all in the same day. The Wet'n Wild water park section has slides for every bravery level — from gentle kiddie pools to the terrifying Kamikaze drop slide. The Grand Prix go-kart track lets older kids race against parents.
Fun World has carnival-style rides. And Aaah! -Ventura offers zip lines and bungee swings for the adrenaline junkies.
